Dr Jack Englert, and his son Dr Daniel Englert, work together as a true "family" medical practice. Englert Family Medicine is a practice where the doctors are concerned about the well-being of their patients. The doctors provide up-to-date, personalized care to patients of all ages, concentrating on preventative care. In our practice, patients see their doctor at every appointment. There are no physician extenders. The doctors strive to build trusting relationships between physician and patient. Drs Englert recognize each person as an individual and care is tailored to the needs of the patient.

Daniel R Englert M.D.
Dr. Daniel Englert is a Huntsville native. A graduate of Grissom High School, he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology/Chemistry at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2017. He completed his Family Practice residency at Emory University School of Medicine. While at Emory, he was awarded the Ruthanne Ramsey Humanitarian Award for Outstanding Service to Patients and Medical Student Training. Dr Englert finished his training in 2020 and returned to Huntsville to join his father. Dr Daniel is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Jack M Englert M.D.
Dr. Jack Englert came to Huntsville in 1979, after his father retired from the Air Force. He attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville and received a bachelors degree. He attended medical school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, graduating in 1990. In 1993 he completed his residency at the University of Alabama in Huntsville School of Primary Medical Care. During his final year of training he served as Chief Resident and received the Ellis Sparks Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine. After graduation he briefly joined Dr Michael McCarthy in his practice on Airport Road. In 1997 he established his practice at its current location. Dr Englert has taught medical students for over 25 years continuing to present day. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
